Who can help me stop my Instagram from getting hacked after changing my password to a difficult one?

My Instagram account keeps getting hacked. I don’t know who is doing it or why. The location is listed as being in the United States, and other information indicates the exact place. Yesterday, I heard it could be somewhere else. I try to change my password and secure it with my email address, but they keep trying to hack it. When I tried to change my password, it said my old password didn’t match, even though I updated it to a difficult one yesterday. Can someone help me with this problem? It keeps happening.

It is very possible that your email is the one that is being hacked otherwise they wouldn't have access in it after you changed your password. If you are using a Gmail change your password there as well and have a 2fa, if you are using a microsoft email, change your password, put a 2fa and also I would recommend putting another email as alias.
The proceed to change your Instagram pass as well.

If it's so bad then get two factor authorisation if your email or instagram allow it.

And give false information for your date of birth and secret questions.

If you're being 'hacked' it would imply it's someone who knows you well enough to fill in this information correctly.

I did. It got hacked. Then my other accounts got hacked. Changing my password or secure my e-mailadres won’t help. And nobody tells how to do that
