My instagram account keeps getting hacked?

okay so someone keeps hacking my instagram account every single day. they dmed my friend on the account pretending to be me and they swore at her and told her to kill herself, when she realised that it wasn't me, she asked the person why they were hacking my account and apparently its one of my old friends that is mad at me bc apparently i did something bad but I don't know what she's talking about. i changed my password, email, and i set up 2 factor authentication but the hacker still managed to get into my account, the worst part is, my favourite celebrity has accepted my dm request and always reads my messages, the hacker swore at her from my account and now the celeb thinks its me. i worked so hard on that account. what should i do?

Is there a way to like delete the account? And create a new one with safeguards?

I'd try to contact Instagram about this, or google around and see who you can contact for help.

yes i can get the account deleted but i worked so hard on that account, my idol commented and dmed me even tho she never talks to her fan pages and if i make a new account i would have to try to get ALL my followers back and my idols notice

I mean first contact Instagram, explain the situation to someone you know, like and trust IRL. Try to fix the situation. But never risk someone else posing as you on the internet.

there is this hacker i had beef with but we got over it, i asked him to put a lock on my account but he won't help me :( and when i told my brother he said he doesn't know what to do, i contacted instagram but this happens everyday and I don't know when they are gonna address the situaution

i can't talk about it to my parents, im not even allowed to have instagram even tho im 15, if they find out ill be in trouble

If you can avoid the hackers finding/infiltrating the new account, I'd say delete the old account

How many times was it hacked? And did you happen to click on any web links that you may have received in your message inbox or email etc?

past 4 days its been hacked 3 times, the hacker never changes the email thats how i get it back, and yes like 2 weeks ago i clicked on a web link i randomly received 2 weeks ago, around that time someone dmed me pretending to be my sister asking for my pw and when i asked my sister she said she never dmed me

no it was a broken link

i deleted the messages that day sorry :( but it was a message sent from some bank company but i dont have a credit/debit card

If you didn't click on any links and if you set up two factor authentication, it's very unlikely for your account to get hacked. The only way left to gain access to your account is direct access to your critical info that is your email and your phone number. Are you sure you changed your email address and the phone number provided is actually your number that you currently use in your phone?

yes im sure i changed my email address, and i used the right phone number, im jus super confused :(( my sister said its impossible for it to be hacked but im 100% sure it was hacked, the hacker swore at my friends and posted pics of jacob sartorious on my account

yes i got my account back for now, but i know the hacker will hack again tmr, its @loyalpope

Is your IG linked to other social media like your Facebook, Twitter etc? If yes, unlink it. Change your IG password again and log out and log in again. Then change your current email password.

the thing is, i've worked so hard on this account, the celeb commented and liked and dmed me, she never talks to her fanpages except me and she probably won't do it again if i make a new account

well then i think that person has hacked your email too, i highly doubt it. so close your email id, deactivate it and create a new one

i think its this one girl i accused of pretending to be me bc someone was pretending to be me and i accused this girl bc i thought it was her, but other than that I don't know what i did, i try to be nice as possible to everyone

well I think you should chill out. firstly.

you should try and talk to her. and like not act affected as that would make it worse.
