How can I delete my Instagram account to prevent it from being hacked or logged into again?

If you can login to your account without forgetting your password and username, you can tap on your profile, then tap the three lines in the top right corner and select help. There you can enter the query "permanently delete instagram account". Instagram provides guides for android, ios, and window versions
