I'm left-handed, but I default to my right ear when using a phone.
I shoot guns and play guitar right-handed for practical, mainly economic reasons.
It turned out that my right eye was stronger and also dominant, so the choice of shooting right-handed was a good one for me.
I can thank my Webelos den chief for that bit of advice.
Guitars?
I'll never know if I'd been a better guitar player if I'd pursued left-handed guitars rather the much more available right-handed models.
I've been playing right-handed guitar for so many years that any attempts at my playing left-handed feel completely foreign to me.
C'est la vie.
My phone isn't smart.
As a left-handed writer, I keep my right hand and ear with a conversation, to write down notes (if required) with my other hand.
To no one's surprise, all my hands now are busy with something useful.
Where the left ear still is free to receive additional or unrelated signals.
Anyhow - most ''phone calls'' are useless infotainment.
:) ... thanks, mate
Probably because I'm left handed and just natural for me to pick phone up with left hand.
I’m left handed, so naturally I use my left hand to pick up and receive calls. 😊📱

My right side even when I used phones with cords which is probably not what they were intended for because the cord was always on the left side of the desk phone and always had the cord in my way when pushing the buttons if I had to dial an extension, I noticed they don’t ask if I’m using a rotary phone anymore for that
You should have had an option for "I'm under thirty and I only use my phone to text."
Honestly, it varies between all three. I'd say if anything though, I probably hold it with my right hand more.
I can hear better with that ear.
It was not on the side of all of the trucks exhaust that i drove over the years.
Neither, I put it on speaker. I don't need to have my brains cooked.
Just realized that if I use an earpiece it is on the left but if I hold the phone it is on the right.
Mostly right but I might change it up if my right arm gets tired from holding my phone or might put it on speaker phone.
Something else, like this, I use the speaker. I don't care who hears.
whichever is closer
I'm a rightie.
on speaker most of the time
the left side.
I forced to use my left ear
I don't own a smart phone.
Right ear since I'm right handed.
Either, but most often right.
either ear. Thank God, they both work.
Right.
My left ear
Mostly my right
Right ear for me :)
