How can you know if an account is fake or you're being catfished on social media like FB and IG?

I ask bc I get tons of messages from "women" asking for $ and have no job. They live with Grandma, Aunt or sister. When I ask for video chat to see if they are real they always have an excuse. Like no wifi or camera broken , didn't pay bill, need some kind if card like Apple. It very frustrating that people just can't be themselves.

It's pretty easy to tell if it's fake. Look at friends age and how many likes It gives.

You probably liked or friended a fake account and they just keep trying to milk you for money!

I use fake social media for dating due to stalkers it's easy to tell if the guys are not overly horny

But it's many so called women my DM are so full. I don't have to time to read them all.. They all basically say the same thing. I work a lot so my time is limited
