Apparently Apple charged people to download free app this is the stupidest shit I’ve ever encountered I’m genuinely considering switching back to android because of this. They literally are forcing you to have your card on file to download free apps just cause some apps have in app purchase so what it’s not your fucking choice if I wanna make the purchase and I can manage my own payments. And everything’s done through these stupid apps nowadays I just wanted to sign up for a phone plan now I gotta download the app just to do that wtf can’t I do it on the website this is annoying. What’s even worse and get this the stupid ass App Store doesn’t take just aaaaaany card so it won’t even take my debit or credit card so I can’t even add my card since I tried. This is so stupid i genuinely do not get why people live Apple so much everything is convoluted and had these dumb round about ways to do simple tasks. Example they just add a feature in the photos app where if your trying to delete a tone of photos or all of them you can select all photos to delete them before that you. HAD TO GO ONE BY ONE. Like ugh I can’t this corporation gets hyped up for mediocre products I swear.

What app were you trying to download? It wasn’t anything essential, that stuff can’t be removed from your system
It was the google fi app I’m trying to get a new number as I’m currently without a phone which I sorta need cause I’m between apply and interviewing for a bunch of jobs and not having a stable way fie employees to contact me is a real pain
But it’s even more of a pain that I can’t simple download a free app on Apples crappy App Store
You can always remove the card after you’ve satisfied apple’s need to have it, you know. I get that you’re frustrated but you’re clearly not able to change things right at this moment. I’m assuming you’ve already made plans to get rid of the phone anyway so you can replace it with android
