Recently read on line of one electric car that will charge 200 miles in 12 minutes?
With two cars, one gasoline (Chevy-Blazer) and one electric, (Tesla-Model S) I find that incredibly hard to believe! The Blazer has a range' of about 250 miles on a full tank (19 MPG) and I never timed how long to fill up, but I don't think I could put 16 gallons in the tank in 12 minutes!
Timing the Tesla at a 'Super Charger" I THINK I can put 100 miles in the Lithium battery in about 20 minutes (Charging at home on a 220 charger it takes 1 hour for adding 20 miles. but I have Solar and a Storage battery - not off the Grid)
I know for a fact, that Tesla only has some agreement for other cars to be charged at Super Chargers, and I am betting the Car in Question has no such agreement!
Based on this, I think the 200 miles in 12 minutes is simply B*&& S&*T, as that is not within the realm of possibility... So much for internet 'misinformation' or outright lies.

Its possible.
Fast charging stations with over 50KWh charge an EV in under 30 mins.
The problem is not the time but the heat. Technically you could charge it in under a minute, but you have to find a solution to cool the battery.
@Astarlessnightsky I charge at Super Chargers at times, but know of no other chargers that charge that fast. There are no faster charges than Super Chargers by Tesla. My battery 'precondition's for faster charging on the way to the chargers
my Uber usually arrives in 5 to 7 minutes...
