What is the main reason for choosing an iPhone over an Android?

Aesthetics mostly. I like the way iPhone looks over android, as well as the set up of the apps in the phone. I also prefer their camera. I’ve tried a few android phones in the past, the last one I had was a Samsung s22, and the camera on that phone made every photo look so dark and dull compared to my current iPhone XR which makes photos have nice colour and brighter.

I’ve only ever worked with Apple, never really had any issues with the hardware or software, more just issues with whatever data limits were on my phone plan

Where do I begin?

My iphone does everything but make me breakfast.

I tell my iPhone to set an alarm, and it does.

I ask my iPhone where I'm at, and it tells me the address.

I ask my iPhone to increase the volume, and it does.

I ask my iPhone to increase the brightness, and it does.

I could go on all day, but no one would care.

I flip flop between the 2 for years. I just like the interface of apple a lot better than android. It looks much cleaner when comparing layout and apps. Plus it makes it easier to connect my stuff from my macbook over wifi

I reckon it's their perceived status symbol and premium experience.

The better the marketing is, the worse the product is.
