Is SpaceX really that dominant?

Looking at the attached chart, SpaceX put satellites into Earth orbit in 2024 with more than 20 times the mass of the second-place rocket launcher, China. And, in fact, more than everyone else combined.

In 2024, SpaceX had a total of 138 launches (134 Falcon-9 launches and 4 Starship launches), also many more launches than any other launch organization, though it did fall short of its goal of 148 launches. All but one of those Falcon-9 launches (except for a few Falcon Heavy launches that weren't planned for recovery) were soft-landed and recovered for future use, unlike almost all others with expendable non-reusable rockets.

Why do you think SpaceX dominates the launch market worldwide?

Do you think that will continue?
