Who else hates Auto Type Mode?

It gets me really frustrated when my phone wants to type out words of its own. I was wondering if it annoys anybody else...

Sometimes it's annoying on the phone but others it's helpful when it offers finishing your word or sentences. What gets me is the choices that pop up as you're tapping for words only for them to change just before you choose them. One example is tapping out don't the letters d and o offer one choice of don't in 3rd spot then once you type the n the middle option ALWAYS reverts to Don. THAT pisses me off.

definitely yes...

auto-type, auto-complete... auto-correct, auto-punctuate

and I am sure sure that I've deactivated some and all of these settings but somehow, they keep coming back somehow, lol

It's annoying, especially if you use your phone to communicate in different languages. I know there's a way around it, but I just have it set to one language. I hate it when I sent out a message and find out it's full of 'mistakes' some computer algorithm made for me. Artificial Intelligence can make us humans look like illiterate blockheads.

The worst is when you hit send and then it changes your message before sending it without giving you a chance to undo the typo created by the auto correct (ironically)

I never do anything important on a phone for many reasons, but that is one of the main ones.

I do, it's one of the worst modes ever.
