On my YouTube homepage feed and suggestions, I will show you the title styles. I generally watch news and docs but is it me or is the world really in such a negative state now? Look at suggested title styles on my homepage:

• AI takes over jobs
• Mass layoffs
• Cashless and dystopic future
• China is running out of babies
• Now it is imppossible to buy houses
• Why you should quit software engineering
• Birth rates are triggering a global collapse
• Gen Z has no future
• Is world war 3 started?
• You will own nothing and be happy
• Housing market crash
• Christmas is a wage slave trap
• Greedy corporations
• People with no friends

Well no shit it’s negative. Do you not understand what a privatized news stream does? The entire point is to generate as many viewers as possible, so naturally they recognize that inherently negative titles will hook in more viewers than an obvious fluff piece. Try watching something purely for entertainment purposes all the way through and you’ll see it change instantly.
