No, I am not because I am a student and as such, I need any grids I can get to finish my education.

Even after (if I do) finish my education and get a degree in my field of studies, I will need a great grid to be able to work in that field. A lack of grid would make all my years of hard labor useless.

I am depending on that grid for an income and living off the grid in my spare time would not be practical as it would involve having to commute a long distance to reach my (future) work place.

Thank you for your thoughts In saying about an advanced education. Be aware AI will be augmenting and or replacing many once though solid carriers soon. In your study's what ever it is. i recommend unless you doing this. learning and or studding how to prompt AI in your carrier space. This will help you work with this new tech.

Latest when the unemployment has reached 20% will there be such an outcry and action will have to be taken against AI putting the entire world at jeopardy.

I am not looking forward to the day when doctors will have AI write their entire thesis while the candidates are playing video games and then have to perform surgery with no qualifications whatsoever.

This is true. The whole education system is going to be turned on its head. The day's a PhD years of studying all kinds of books and papers will be all nul and void. The new doctor or PhD will be a professional prompter. learning how just to interpenetrate the clients query. Will be the new skill set. I myself have a AI at home with all worlds knowledge on western and eastern medicine at my disposal. cost is zero. Wright any book on any topic i can do it in 20 min and free this is the good side of AI

All is good until lives are lost to AI because doctors have no clue on how to perform a surgery and that there is a breakdown in the internet and they have no access to AI in critical moments.

True human docs will only be a few. Chances of a internet fail is probable. In the not too distant future AI will be installed in each robot. compute in the latest GPU right now can run AI at such an efficient speed it can operate a robot. Also AI will be wright the routines for the robots to be able to perform judgment calls during a operation. the accuracy will be so high and beyond human. muscle control. We mortals won't be able to be insured to perform them. I dont want to sound anti human. We must strike a balance with using this tech leveraging it also keeping it under control.

I dont know what your studying. It seams like you are saying grid in stead of community. You will need people for your carrier. Makes sense. I hope your considering the impact of the vary fast advancement of AI. Most degrees will become less important. I would sit back and study the direction of where AI is taking civilization. You know the 2026 trend for business is no new employees they are looking where AI will fill in the attrition of staff. Learn to prompt and ask AI good questions. That's the direction it s going. have a think and i would like to know your thoughts

I can see the appeal. At this point, personally, I'm not sure of the point of disappearing from society. If I can bring my fruits and experiences to help other people, in some small form, then I should. Of course, society is really collapsing and moving into really dark times. I think people will get shaken up, soon enough, as the events of the last 5 years still hasn't woken up many.

The off grid life is a life choice that you would not be able to up and travel. The homestead is always in need of some thing. No different than a farm with livestock. so travel first and explore.
