Only because a week after that b. s. they say there was a data breach. It's like, you numbskulls make us jump through hoops to quasi-protect us. Then you open the godd*** front door for the thieves and let them waltz right in.

And if God forbid you ever actually do get hacked I guaran-f'ing-tee you they're going to tell you that the breach was on your end.

To quite the movie fight club, "the illusion of safety". That's all it is. A show they put on. I know somebody who works in cyber security, and he's a putz.😆

Yeah, we have an popular online shop in my country and I don't allow saving of cookies and WebGL elements since I use Libre wolf and this website annoys me with very trashy anti bot verification. So I was forced to install less restrictive Waterfox to omit this annoying verification.

They should at least allow you to opt out of it. They all say "trust this device," and then the next time you sign it, it makes you go through it all over again. As far as data breach, those happen on their end, not mine.

One place I log in replaced passwords. You can ONLY sign in with an e-mailed code. That is for "convenience". It is the opposite of that!
