I personally like it a lot. Anything can be used for good and bad so I choose to use it for good. For example I use it to calculate my total expenses for the end of the month so I can see how much money i saved. Sometimes I will even use it for my job to help me give an answer instead of asking another co-worker for help and possibly make myself look bad.
Because it’s entirely soulless and literally makes normal people pay more if they happen to live near a data centre, poisoning nearby water sources, driving electricity costs. I don’t like AI at all, and I’ll die on that hill, no chip implants, or any thing foreign for human enhancement. I’ll live and die a human being thanks.

2 moSo it helps you with expenses. What happens to the accountant when it can handle your tax filings every year? Does that answer your question?

" The Impact of AI-Generated
Text on the Internet
Jonas Dolezal 1, Sawood Alam 2, Mark Graham 2, Maty Bohacek 3*

The proliferation of AI-generated and AI-assisted text on the internet is feared to contribute to a degradation in semantic and stylistic diversity, factual accuracy, and other negative developments. We find that by mid-2025, roughly 35% of newly published websites were classified as AI-generated or AI-assisted, up from zero before ChatGPT's launch in late 2022. We also find evidence suggesting that increases in AI-generated text on the internet bring about a decrease in semantic diversity and an increase in positive sentiment. We do not, however, find statistically significant evidence supporting the hypothesis that an increased rate of AI-generated text on the internet decreases factual accuracy or stylistic diversity. Notably, our findings diverge from public perception of AI's impact on the internet. "

2 moThe buzz word of the moment to generate capital investment is "AI" which is primarily focusing on "chat bots" in this day and age. I personally do not have a problem with Machine Learning, that is algorithms and statistical models that are utilized to make predictions based on data to make better decisions. When it's just the facts ma'am that's all good and well. The problem is that is not what the buzz word "AI" means in this day and age. The focus of AI is chat bots which are specifically designed for narrative control. They are propaganda tools that blatantly lie about history, religion, current events, biology & chemistry (medicine), and many more things. The information industry (news) violated the trust of the public which lead to lost market share in print and broadcast media, so in response they did not apologize or try to do better to bring the truth to market, they sold a gimmick of Artificial Intelligence and used their media outlets to try to persuade people via propaganda that it is smarter and quicker than humans and impartial, when in reality it is just an attempt by the same ass clowns to try to regain control over the information narrative. Their old brainwash tools are broken, so they tried a new approach to try to put people back in chains. It's easy to spot evil, that is why so many people hate "AI".

They are desperate to recapture minds. They tried social media to amplifies chosen voices through media partnerships, algorithmic boosts, influencer networks and to censor competing views with shadow banning, but mockingbird media is broken, so here were are with AI at the moment and when it fails they will try something else.

Okay this makes the most sense to me and I def agree about the media part. Cause look how many people will make AI videos and people will actually think its real news. And then they can also use it towards other people and gaslight them saying "oh this never actually happened, its just an AI video".
- 2 mo
AI videos are also part of it. They are used to muddy the water by "pumping as much sewage into the public square as possible" as Obama put it. The intention by Obama and his cronies (ANTIFA, BLM, Palestinians, etc.) was to confuse people as much as possible so that they would not be able to discern fact from fiction which creates chaos so that he could demoralize the American public and leverage that confusion and breakdown to take power in a communist revolution. He has dictatorial aspirations. This is why he changed propaganda laws in America during his time in office. Once the change happened, movies, TV shows, news media, music, social media, etc. were all leveraged and turned against the American public in an information war which was complimented by his socialist goons in ANTIFA, BLM, etc. in domestic terrorist operations to burn and loot cities and facilitate the breakdown of society with provocateurs that leveraged people's confusion and emotionally manipulated them into protests and violent riots. We saw the launch of "fact checking" services to steer the narrative as "ministries of information", search engine algorithms were heavily modified to steer narratives, and AI follows in their footsteps. It's a war for peoples minds and much of the public are wise to it.

If you want to use "AI" not the chat bots to do unit conversion, process raw math, do basic software development tasks and you double check the results fine. Math is math. But I wouldn't trust anything a chat bot tells you. Only a retard would do that. I've test numerous chat bots with factual information and they all lie to steer the narrative. Even when you confront the chat bots with primary source information and supply ebooks for example, they will either claim it is conspiracy theory or they will try to minimize the facts and try to emotionally manipulate the user into not believing the facts. AI is the Big Lie used by Hitler. The "Big Lie" as in a propaganda technique used by the Nazis suggesting that a falsehood, repeated often enough, would be accepted as truth. They just keep repeating lies like a mockingbird utilizing different tools to try to deceive the public and it's not OK. As a result, if you use the buzzword "AI" your product is going to fail. You might sell it to a board room that is trying to push stock to investors as an AI enabled company, but it will not be adopted by the people and it will not change productivity inside the company. It's all bullshit. It's a big waste of money. It's a failed information campaign right from the get go.

"You just have to flood a country's public square with enough raw sewage. You just have to raise enough questions, spread enough dirt, plant enough conspiracy theorizing that citizens no longer know what to believe." - Obama
Obama is evil. All he brings is death. - 2 mo
That's his tactic and why you have dozens of bot accounts on here regularly that push his left-wing narratives in the face of factual evidence. They want people confused. They want people scared. They need people oppressed and in a state of chaos, so that they can offer a solution to a crisis they are engineering and that solution is to submit to AI for their narrative on reality. This is the core ideology behind fascism. If enough people believe the same thing, they believe they can create reality. They believe they are God. This is why AI is such a big push, they need people to latch onto AI as an idol to provide them with the leftist Islamist religion so that they can control people and dictate reality by pulling the strings behind the scene to bring about their Nazi revolution. They want everyone to follow their dogma and turn their back on Truth.
2 moBecause it's scary. It makes people have to rethink what makes them special. It makes people rethink if they have a personality. Ai gives you a more straightforward and logical answer than a Google search. It's very obvious when it's telling you what you want to hear because you have to ask it a certain way to make it do that and even then. The veil becomes paper thin.
It's forcing people to be honest with themselves. No more www.imright.com as bill burr would say

2 mocause humans are xenophobic. anything new will be scary. it is what it is. and i would say that a level of apprehension is very appropriate. cause as any tool, it is usefull and "can" be used for good but likewise it can be used as a destructive weapon and we can only imagine how that looks. we can't defent against it yet cause we don't know it yet.
10 Reply 755 opinions shared on Technology & Internet topic. AI gets a lot of hate because it's negatives outweigh it's benefits. One of the biggest negatives with AI right now is how it caused the price of computer parts, especially ram and storage to become expensive. Little over a year ago bought a new Samsung SSD for a little under $80, same SSD is now going for close to $300.

2 moOf course AI could be used for good. But how likely is that to happen? Say it's being used by Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk... do you think they will use it to do good? I don't.
