Keep in mind that the motorhome we rented was probably 3 times longer than this one. Do you want coffee? Press the button. Need a hot shower? Press the button. Internet? Plug-in. Need some lights? Press the button. Cooking, baking, no problem. Refrigerator, no problem. Television? Boring. Wouldn't that make more sense to just stay home?

Wall tent, oil drum wood stove, electric bear fence, and a percolator. Nothing says living like spitting out coffee grounds.

Camping with taking a tent or at least a sleeping bag per person, finding a good camp ground, setting up a campfire to cook your food on and roast marshmallows over as well as to keep you warm and maybe keep animals away. If you need to pee, go off into the woods somewhere, maybe even dig a hole to go into and make sure you fill it back in when you leave.

Camping is sleeping out in the woods in a sleeping bag in a tent. That’s real camping. I’ve been to Survivor camp. I just slept on my back in the woods no sleeping bags or tents and it was cold and we weren’t allowed to have fire either there way up in the mountains in Pinedale, Wyoming. For the real soft people, the next level would be a log cabin. Or a camper. and if you’re real spoiled, you’ll go to a hotel and you’ll call that camping lol 😂

My version - walk into a hotel, put my stuff down. Go downstairs to get food, coffee, tea. Walk around the area, beach, shops.
plan a hiking trip - a cab will drive us to our destination.
Come back. Beds made.

I think with a camper (I see a lot on the road) they still have to go get groceries and change water… not my cup of tea.

My version of camping is “y’all have fun camping!!” Or if I actually am going, there need to be showers and AC. I do enjoy hiking though, but hiking in which I return to a hotel or home within that same day. JMO!

That’s when you have to say that’s it and go to the holiday in the next day. When you wake up your back is extremely sore and stiff from laying on the ground with a sleeping bag

If you’re not in a tent, a swag or sleeping on the ground next to a fire in the bush, you’re not camping.

An RV or a trailer which is a studio apartment on wheels isn’t camping.

As an insomniac, I've downloaded apps and sounds to help replicate nature sounds to help sleep. Nothing compares to the sound of raindrops on a canvas tent. It can't be a nylon tent. It's that Ratatat sound that does me in.
