I had both at one time but quit because they both wanted to sell me more and more protection. This isn't the first time they have spammed me. Now it is every 30 seconds. How do you stop it?

Umm..
- Turn off their pop up notification from their app
- Go in your laptop settings and take away their permission to send you notification.
- Turn off their auto-Updates and make it manual
Lot of ways you can do it, And That Norton is a Buggy piece of Shit!.. throw Norton away!.
One Antivirus is enough, Mcafee is Decent!
Never have more than one antivirus on your system, they clash and Fight for Authority and cause Problems.. also Been th Companies try to Sabotage other antivirus app and they turn your PC into a Battlefield loading your Device of Precious RAM!

I have no idea what you are talking about. I am not that computer savvy. 😕
They are not on my computer, as least I don't see them listed.
Ok how about we do it step by step!..
Your McAfee and Norton are they on your PC/Computer!.
What I am asking is, Did you uninstall the Anti-Virus?
Go in your PC Settings in App/Installed apps and Look for McAfee and Norton and tell me if you see them!
Also tell me Which OS are you using Windows/Linux/Mac
Anti-virus is a pyramid scheme with windows defender at the top. You can look for specialized Uninstaller or you can do a "clean" windows installation but ya, windows defender is very effective.
You could even make an argument to say Microsoft in a round about way effectively owns Norton and McAfee.
Seeing as I was getting bombed by both at once, I can see that as being true.
These are not really from McAfee. They are scams.
There are many videos on You Tube that will tell you hoe to remove them. It depends on what browser you are using and what version of Windows you have. This is one of them.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/QWHO0Krz97wThey are probably still installed. Start by using removing them. This site explains it:

absolute clean install... lol
we can exorcise that thing as well, and get it fully backed up
I don't know what happened, but it stopped when I just turned the sound off and ignored it.
did you uninstall it with REVO, though
Coming from a guy who knows almost nothing about computers, and just uses chat gPT to figure it out, I just uninstalled AVG from my computer, because it says Windows Defender is fine, and that shit is running fast as hell now!
Uninstall them?
Today even Windows own firewall is decent enough to keep you safe and cost free. I'd argue Norton is better but it is hard to argue against free.
These same kinds of things happened when I dropped Norton. They were always trying to upsell me more protection and it became too costly for what I felt I was getting.
you'll have to look up removal instructions. They really hold your system hostage and removal can be complicated. I'll never run those, especially Norton.
I really don’t know, but are you talking about for a computer or an iPhone? because I need some antivirus protection
computer
Oh ok well I haven’t had a computer in a while I’m using my iPhone and my tablet
@nodecision Turn it l off and then turn it on again
Uninstall that shit.
Build a PC/Laptop.
Uninstall it
I can't find it to uninstall it. I thought I had already done that.
Both of them?
I had dropped McAfee for Norton. When I dropped Norton too for being too expensive, they both rebelled and kept sending me pop ups saying my computer was infected with 10 or more viruses.
So you uninstalled all of their drivers?
