Time clock app keeps glitching and my boss blames me—what can I do?

My boss said last week I have to start getting things right with a new app that keeps track of our time at work. I had issues with it today again though. It seems like the app always glitches. It either won’t take my punches, signs me out when I’m trying to punch out and then doesn’t register my punch. It will all look good until I either go to punch back in or out. Then I have to tell my boss who has to fix it. I’m afraid I’m going to get sacked because of it. I finally reported it to IT. What else can I do differently. I operate other apps just fine.

You boss and IT should have tested it fully before issuing the app Is it your o9wn phone or a company issued phone? If ir is your own phone, it may be incompatible with the app. In which case, your boss or IT should give you a phone pre loaded with the app, and which has been fully tested.

We have to confirm our identity through the phone. Then the app connects on our desktop.

Seems to me they have issues with the app. It needs IT dept to sort iit.

We use a fingerprint scanner at our work, and we have the same problem. There was even one day recently when the whole damn app was in French. lol.

when you punch in take screenshots. each week send boss a copy.
