Lol yep! We got a computer when I was a senior in high school in 1996-97. I definitely remember AOL dial up and "You've got mail!". I remember the chat rooms too.

Lol the infinite amount of guys asking A/S/L was outrageous.

Lol im a simple girl and like ease. It was simple to just get the AOL disk/cd, pop it in and use those services.

Besides, it was my parents pc and it was in their bedroom. My brothers and I had to split time before they went to bed. Didn't have time to really explore too much. I just wanted to chat with others.

My middle brother on the other hand... well, let's just say he was more interested in... hmm... deviant sites. He was also terrible (or didn't know how) at clearing his browsing history.

Yeah, I was the snitch who told my parents, much as I did when I found out he was smoking and drinking in high school too. Totally worth it though lmao

I was the good girl, well... if you don't count all the fights I had with my dad when we didn't agree with his philosophies. Other than that though, I was good!
