My first computer was an IBM 5150 with a DOS 2.1 operating system on a floppy disk & believe me with it comes to operating systems after that if I were forced to use them I’ll be fine. DOS, Linux, Unix, Windows & more.

I worked on Unix systems for years. Linux is much better than Windows except that it can't run Windows applications. But who uses those anymore, except for gaming? I have a Windows 10 system that will never run Windows 11; I don't think it can.
I know some basics but I’d have some studying to do and I would know who to ask for help so it would be fine.
I mostly use the browser, don't think it would matter much.

Yeah, after a few tweaks and adaptations, it shouldn't be too big of a problem. I'm already using software with a Linux pedigree like VLC, GIMP or OpenOffice.
I've done it before... and currently have it on the side
so, it should not be the biggest issue to just switch
I teach a UNIX/Linux class and can use the product. It really is not bad once ou get used to it. There is a nice GUI that lets you navigate a screen.
I tend to use all three and more over a week.
Yes, please. Saying goodbye to Windows would make me very happy.
