I ask because I don't trust them, and I'm not willing to fly anywhere on an aircraft made by Boeing - not anymore.

The FAA opened an investigation in September 2026 into a flight computer software glitch affecting some 737 MAX jets during aborted landings. Certain airlines declined to accept new deliveries with that specific software version.

I've never flown before. Statistically, it's supposedly safer than driving, but the RISK is very high, because people tend not to survive hitting the ground or ocean at 400mph when a crash happens.

Older, established models, of course. Newer stuff like the infamous 737 MAX, maybe not.

We know the 737 MAX is probably unsafe. What we don't know is: which other planes supposedly "upgraded" the software, and are now unsafe too?

I haven't flown in years, not because I dislike planes. I don't mind flying with any major airline and I wouldn't even notice what plane I'm on. There are like 100,000 airline flights every day without problems.
