Crashing 2 planes apparently hasn't changed the culture at Boeing at all. Things are only getting worse. It's a matter of time before more fatal crashes happen. Are you making sure that you're not flying on a Boeing airplane? I would if I were you.

Read Boeing's own website, and you'll find that they've decided to priorities DEI over merit, and for the last 7 or 8 years, they've been hiring people based on their sex, skin color, and sexual preference rather than on their qualifications - qualifications that they had to either lower or completely ignore to do so.
The results of this policy should be obvious to everyone by now. It was completely predictable, except rather than losing hundreds of millions because of a bad movie, or because of a discrimination lawsuit, they're literally putting lives at risk. This is what happens when you abandon merit-based hiring for "equity."
yes, oracle, it's all because of partisan politics.
@juliaanita Do you want to fly in a plane, or cross a bridge, or live in a skyscraper, that was designed and built by someone who earned their way in by merit (regardless of what they looked like or who they were attracted to), or someone who got their position because someone arbitrarily decided that there weren't enough of this or that type of person, and hired them regardless of their lack of merit in the field?
That's NOT a hypothetical question - it's literally what people have to ask themselves today, because this is really happening.
If I need a doctor, or an engineer, or a pilot, or an architect, I don't care what color their skin is, what kind of plumbing they have in their pants, or what other adults they sleep with - I want the people who are the best in their field. But too many people have been convinced that this is a bad thing simply because they've decided there aren't enough of this or that - regardless of merit or what people's own personal choices have been. That's bad enough when it just results in bad art, it's even worse when it interferes with employment, but now it's putting lives in danger, for real, every day.
You couldnt pay me to fly in one of those shit birds.
I’m not sure it’s possible to avoid Boeing from my city because over 95% of all my flights from Toronto have been Boeing aircraft. The one comfort I get, is knowing I can predict Turbulence based on location and airplane size and price. I find cheaper flights usually have more turbulence cause they give you a lower quality ride to reduce prices and this might involve a smaller or skinnier airplane. As well as flights that head across hemispheres. I decided I will fly to Europe but not Miami since Miami is in a region where turbulence could be higher.
The 85 year safety culture at Boeing stopped when McDonnell Douglas moved them from Seattle to Chicago.

I was in grad school in 2010 getting an MS in Technology Managemevt. Boeing was one of the companies we rmwete studying. They are an American company based in Seattle. At th3 time the planes were made in Seattle one at a time with mostly American made parts. The company decided to outsource a lot of thir electronics and other systems, mostly to China to improve their profit margin. I said "What could go wrong?"
No. Considering the number of planes they have in service their record is still excellent
Bro, Airbus has had their share of freak accidents as well.
i agree with you. avoidable risk!
Be sure to avoid woke airlines
If you live in fear, they've won
