In my lifetime if I went to Mars today, the odds of it becoming a community like the one on earth in enough time where I wouldn't be too old and crappy to enjoy it, would be slim to none. So I'd just be there looking at endless red rocks and having to deal with a limited amount of people, none of which I assume would be related to me, for the rest of my life, which sounds good in theory, but if you're stuck with some a-holes, there is no where for you to go or go to about that. Beyond that, all this is assuming we actually make it there in one piece and nothing catastrophic goes wrong while we're there which with no previous human inhabitants (that we know of) there is no way to even remotely predict success. Earth has a lot of problems, it really does, but I don't think flying the coop would improve my life.

No. We don't want humanity to fuck up another planet. There is enough crap there already.
No, I guess there's nothing magical about Mars, it's just another planet with different conditions that are unsuitable for life.. I'd get pretty bored soon as there's nothing but rusty red ground and pinkish red sky everywhere.. Earth is thousand times more interesting. Imagine a space action film with all the scenes apparently on Mars the whole time. Even that would start to get boring halfway through the movie, let alone living there.
will they send netflix and movie updates?

Would there be a way to live on Mars? I don't want to have a one-way trip to just show up and die. Not interested in a suicide trip to die on another planet.
Sure! When pigs dance!
Let's make Mars a penal colony. Empty our prisons and send them all there. Come to think of it we should send all out politicians too as there isn't an honest one in the bunch. We would neve have to worry about them coming back into society to commit more crimes.
Personally, I think I would rather have a one-way trip to an asteroid I can colonize and own, think of it as a galactic tropical island.
As for Mars, probably not... too many family members and love ones to leave behind forever. No thanks I will not take. Let's send toxic people there to eat each other. May good people sit in peace in the world.
Nope. I think space is fascinating but I have no desire to go to space. I'm 100% sure something would go wrong and I would die. 😂
The atmopressyre is less dense than on earth.
Carbon Dioxide makes up 95% or 96% of the air.
Planet wide sandstorms that last weeks.
What would you do for shelter?
What would you do for food and water?
Just some stuff to think about.Nope. I'm fine living out my life on the big blue marble.
Hell no that's a ticket to an early death. Cool way to go but I rather stay and enjoy life here.
No, us humans need oxygen to survive and considering Mars lack oxygen it wouldn't be a good idea to travel outside of Earth.
Why? There's nothing there, not like anyone has even went to the moon. Can you prove it?
Hmmm will I have internet and same technology and apps? Sure why not
Unless this is the actual birth of the principality of zeon and I get a free zaku out of it, then no
Maybe if I where single and I had no family left. But I'm not single and I do, so no.
No, I don;t think Mars would be all that interesting after the first week or so,
If there was a playboy mansion, movie thester and mcdonalds, filled with prettiest of single blondies, I would not have a reason to return.
One way ticket? That tells me all I need to no. Hell no I'm not living the rest of my life on Mars. I barely explored Earth
Fuck life if it will ever reject being extraordinary. Yes.
ET ran off with my iPhone so yeah IL stop by his crib real quick on Mars lol 😂😂😂😂!!
The sci-fi nerd in me absoluteoy would. In a heartbeat, no hesitation.
Realistically, I have absoliteoy NO skills to add to a trip like that or to contribute. It would be an amazing experience though.
