Where would you live if you won the lottery?

I think I would spend my winters in a hotel in Las Vegas and my summers at a cottage by the lake. I would eat buffet food and go on shopping trips and parties with my friends and I would do work outs and video games in my hotel.

I would want to buy a ranch in Oregon or Montana, because there are some dark sky areas and I love astronomy and nature. I wouldn't want to be so far from a city that I couldn't get fast internet or not be able to go to a hospital or buy food easily, and I wouldn't want to be so far from people that I become a hermit. But I'd love seeing stars from where I live.

Not really bothered where, just the idea of being able to own a house outright before I die right now is enough. If it was large enough to invest and live off those returns, then I'd buy somewhere big enough to have a forge and take up smithing as a hobby... so would probably need to be away from neighbours due to the hammering.

How much did I win? If I have enough to travel when I please I would live in Manhattan, and travel from there. I would have a track car at Watkins Glen, ski Colorado a few weeks in the winter.
