The only reason I say it was the worst was bc it was just like a ghost town to be, it smelled, and there was rlly nothing to do.
What about you?

I think honestly the worst place I visited ever is, unluckily, the capital city of my country, Rome.
I loved its monuments and food, but it filled my heart with sadness to see the Capital of the world in such poor state: garbage everywhere, even in front of Monuments, wild boars roaming in the streets and seeking for food in trash, inefficient bus transport with vehicles that broke in the middle of roads, unwelcoming local people with tourists, a lot of thieves and an uneasy tourist experience due to lack of indication and support.
RLLY? I’m surprised, I loved Rome when I went. I can agree with you about the unwelcoming people though lol. Most of the people were super friendly but when you’re brown sometimes the locals can be a little weird, other then that people were super nice.
I can also agree with the dirty part though lol
Thanks for your appreciation words.
For my experience of Rome (I went there 4 times) I can tell you I saw everything I said. Long queues at bus stops (unacceptable for a city with million of tourists), one only and inefficient subway line… I saw a bus going on flame by itself with people inside, I saw people going out of Termini station being scammed by fake taxi drivers and being robbed, I saw wild boars eating trash on the streets! Plus there’s a lot of unwelcoming people, I can imagine your difficulty as a brown person since in the south they’re not so… welcoming. I think it’s shameful for a Capital of a nation to show herself is such poor condition.
A strip club in Mexico City, Mexico. Only one woman was nice to me there and the place was run by the mob and they overcharged me for drinks which they said if I did not pay up something bad would happen to me. Most expensive sodas I ever drank. Never will I set foot in that strip club again.
I’m not going to lie to you, the places in Mexico that are run by the cartel are either super fun or super shitty 😂
New Orleans. I don't know why people are obsessed with that city. My school took us on yearly field trips there. I go there for airport trips. Yea just nothing there other than some sexy accents and good bounce music. Even the food was disappointing but thats partially because the right folks werent cookin it
Wow I’m surprised bc everyone flocks there
Yea its overrated
Advantage is I saw a really rich African prince walking the Great Wall and his security guards were super good looking, I loved looking at them.

Port Klang, Malaysia.
One of the filthiest places on the planet. Filled with people with a filthy mind.
It wasn't so much about 'travelling' but they had a yacht club there.
Imagine a river that's so loaded with plastic waste that at times it looks like icebergs drifting; including a corpse of a human or a goat every now and then.
Rats, deceitful Indians, garbage and scruffy buildings where ever you turn to look.
Port au prince Haiti is the largest dump that’s called a city.
dead bodies and mountains of garbage throughout
Wow. I was actually planning to go there sometimes next year but everyone keeps telling me not to go. I guess I’m not going anymore lol
I second that. The Dominican Republic part of the island is only slightly better.
Northern Oregon, specifically the southern units of the John Day Fossil Beds. Over 8 hours of driving just to see a leaf fossil and and one green rock. It actually would've been fine if my dad just went to the Farmstead and the Badlands unit like everyone else, but nope. This is what happens when my dad plans itineraries.
Belize, the diving was great on one of the islands, but Belize is not a very nice place to be.
It's very poor.
I hear it’s one of the cheapest places to fly to. That’s probably why.
I have been to chicago and thought it was a dump but i expected it. I went to New Orleans and heard about how cool it was. I thought the French Quarter was a slum.
I love how the reason why reality is trash compared to expectations is because other humans exist
A) the south side of chicago
B) because my winter beater's gps map database is from 2009, and someone changed the freeway.
Hmm, I don't think I have had a trip like that, but I find that wherever you go, your internal energy and vibe has almost as much to do with having a fun time as the actual destination.
Sihanoukville, Cambodia. Much of Cambodia is very pretty... Sihanoukville is decidedly not.
Slidell, Louisiana. It's just a shithole. I agree with you about Newark - it's disgusting.
Yeah that part of New Jersey is definitely not good or Jersey City and I’ve been to the outskirts of Baltimore in Maryland and that’s not good either
Probably New Jersey but we stay there instead of New York because it was cheaper
Sihanoukville Cambodia 🇰🇭 it was like a bomb site
India. It's so dirty and dusty.
India. There were people crapping in the street
Mississippi by far.
Canada. New Orleans is a close second.
Middle East. Muslims make everything worse
