Have you ever gotten lost?

Is one really ever physically lost? If you are hiking in the mountains, I suppose but to really get lost in today's world, that is tough. Couple of caveats, let's assume your friends play a prank on you and blindfold you and drop you in place you are not familiar with. You do not have anything but the clothes on your back
What do you do? So much depends on where you are lost. If you are in the middle of the woods or in the middle of a populated area, the key is to stay calm, assess your surroundings, determine if there is immediate danger. Listen for sounds of people in a populated area or the sound of running water in the wilderness. Simply put, following a stream, creek or river will 99.99% bring you to civilization. However, if in a populated area depending on what kind of neighborhood you may be in, you should be very careful. Personally, I would find some business and go inside and ask to use a phone, call someone who could come get you. I would stay there in the public eye until your friend arrives.
Sad to say, but in today's world, it feels like it is more dangerous being lost in a populated area versus the wilderness. But in either case, I took the time to train both of my daughters what to do when they are not sure where they are, with the most pertinent advice was not to allow themselves to get into that situation in the first place. Always be aware of your surroundings and people around you and that your gut feeling is always accurate.
In this world you are never lost you are always somewhere so follow your heart & your gut instinct & most of all guess if no one is around to ask.
As for your photo although I was distracted by how radiant you are I also noticed there are utility poles in the smaller photo so let those utility poles guide you.
Literally, yes. It was when I was going to a job interview tomorrow. I would always do a test drive to make sure I had it right, and I love driving anyway. But usually I do it during the day. And the job I applied for was in a small town where all houses looked the same and there were many farms, fields. For some reason I couldn't do it during the day so did it at night. There were works going on so some roads were blocked and it was misty. Totally got lost.

I grew up before the GPS was available and no cell phones.
Hell yeah I've been lost. I got lost on the peninsula of a reservoir near where I grew up. It's LITERALLY a circle 🤦.
I still prefer to use a map than a GPS. I used to be able to hold directions for a 500 mile trip in my head. Now thanks to GPS I got lost walking into town last time I moved to a new home.
This has to be the craziest story I have been through. I went to Mardi Gras in New Orleans in 2004. I lost all my friends at a club. I ended up walking the streets of the french quarters for 5 hours alone. My friends ended up seeing me on the news getting interviewed. Luckily I had my credit card and called my friend they finally answered and they picked me up.
Yes I have gotten lost several times. When I was younger we didn't have cell phones or GPS. We used maps. When I was in my early 20's I drove my girlfriend, her sister and my brother to great adventure in New Jersey. We got lost and it took 5 hours to get there so we didn't have much time to enjoy ourselves at the park.
A few times. Did you make it back okay, or find someone to help?
I did make it back okay thanks for asking! I did by asking for directions lol the old fashioned way. I was pretty proud I didn't need to use my phone to save me !
I've been lost a few times driving and also several times sailing. It is especially terrifying to be lost when you were sailing at sea.
Once on an air force base. Everything looked the same.
With those tits you could never actually get lost , someone will always help you out
On ocassion, but I usually figure out where I am at some point.
I was lost for a while and then I met my wife.
Dont ever tell me, go east on x road and then say go north on x road. I will certainly get lost immediately.
First off your gorgeous and no I've never been lost I've lived in New York city all of my life so I know it inside and out. How did you finally find your way home
If you keep moving, you're not lost, you just haven't arrived yet!
Yep, a few times. The goal is to remain calm and find something to know where you are. And if your phone has a working gps, it's even easier.
Yeah I have been lost before especially if I am at a place I never been too. Thank God GPS
Yes, a few times. Before the days of GPS on your phone.
