Trending & News Japan is considered the safest country. I live in Tokyo, the largest city in the world. When I was 10 years old, I was traveling on the subway and trains, alone and my parents did not have to worry about me. I would go to the Harajuku ward to hang out with my friends and it was about 16km from my home. We have very little crime. If you drop your wallet, just go to the nearest Koban, (small police station on every corner), and most likely your wallet will be there with the money still inside.
That’s awesome
I’m thinking to visit Tokyo. Do any natural disasters happen there often? Like monsoon/tsunamis?
Not very often. We hadthat big tsunami in 2011, of course, but Tokyo was not damaged very much.
In terms of nice weather (not too hot and not raining) also blossom trees, when is the best time to visit?
yes, honestly japan is very safe. I travelled there by myself for a month, everybody was warm and friendly towards me despite I don't speak japanese lol. Maybe I just don't understand them when they talk behind my back LOL
Oh nice, that’s brave :)
I’m hoping this is me someday 🤩🤞
Was it easy to navigate around?
Oh right. Did you use taxis or metro? And did you stay in a hotel
Sorry for all the questions but I’m seriously considering going!
Cool I’ll keep that in mind!
Were the signs in English too?
For the most part, YES. But I've heard incidents of single women being stalked/catcalled at night, and Japanese men sticking selfie sticks up their skirts. But you won't get sexually assaulted or anything. One White girl said a racist local girl ripped her mask off in the bus and punched her.
Oh crap😵

Beware of the Yakuza! 😮
What are they🫤
The Japanese mafia.

Japan is one of the safest countries for a solo traveller, but you still need to be vigilant about some petty crimes.
Japan absolutely, crime is very low and it is full of old people, who rarely hurt others.
