What’s your favorite Hotel in Vegas?

We are going to Vegas soon and while we aren’t staying in the strip the next strip hotel I want to stay in the Wynn. Favorite hotel I’ve stayed as in Vegas is the Venetian.

My babies are Delano and Cromwell. I love that Delano was close to MGM and NYNY. Plus i got to use the Mandalay Bay Wave Pool, lazy river, and tram rail for free. I like that Cromwell was next to Caesars, Planet Hollywood and Bellagio but hated that the bedroom balconys dont have closed windows so you hear the fountains and citylife all night. I wouldve chose Cosmopolitan if they werent assholes. I definitely want to try staying at the Venetian just because hey have all my fave restaurants. The Wynn is nice but beware, all hotels, no matter how nice have kleptomaniac maids/security so dont take anything too valuable. I read all tripadvisor reviews before going and searched keywords like “theft”, “stolen”, “thieves”, “steal” and knew where not to stay. But my Delano suite had this doorbell that you press to tell maids not to come clean. I wasn't aware so i hung a “do not disturb” sign on my door while i went down to the pool. I came back and my suitcase was moved from across the room onto the bed. I was pissed but thankfully nothing was taken. There were no bad reviews about Delano prior to staying but i definitely went to the front desk and snapped about disregarding the sign. They told me its because i didn't press the doorbell thing. Like wtf.

I’ve never heard of Delano but the bathrooms look nice. The Venetian has nice and spacious rooms if you decide to stay there.

Yea Delano and Four seasons are on Mandalay Bay landsite. Delano has the panoramic suites and penthouses. Four Seasons is at the top top level. Mandalay and Delano together have probably like 6 pools total because you can use both but the lazy river and wave pool were the most fun. Plus they have the beachside casino. Delano suites were like 700/night but i gamble a lot at MGM hotels here in MS so that knocked my price down by half per night. My delano room had a full bath, half bath, living room, bar and huge bead. Cromwell also had a huge bed and really large walk in shower. I love the contrast between the two. Delano is light and fluffy like heaven. The cromwell was dark and sultry and sets the mood. Cromwell pool and nightclub is on the rooftop across from Caesars.

I only visited 3 hotels during my three trips to Las Vegas and my favourite was the flamingo cause it was the cheapest hotel on the strip that was still close to the most popular attractions and I loved the pink logo of their brand, the humongous swimming pool, and the way they decorate the surrounding area where you enter the hotel. It was one of my favourite vacations ever when I was a youth, second only to Orlando Florida.

Yea cromwell/flamingo/linq are right across from Caesars shopping plus cromwell is across from the bellagio fountains. I could see them dance from my balcony

Never been, not much of gambler, so it doesn't appeal to me much. My idea of a vacation would be to sleep in a treehouse in the jungle. Check out plants and animals on a small island.

Well, Vegas is literally the opposite of a jungle lol

That's what I kind of figured. I would likely run around Nevada, check out the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, etc. Maybe go herping and see if I can find some rattlesnakes, out in the desert.

The Cosmopolitan.

The rates are really good and because the building was originally designed as an apartment, the rooms are huge.

I had a boss who had stayed in pretty much every luxury hotel in North America and Europe. He was PICKY. He LOVED the Cosmopolitan. AND, they have huge balconies. :)

I've never been personally but boss said they were great (though they wouldn't let him smoke cigars there)

@anna The pool at the cosmo is very basic but the rooms are gorgeous. I enjoy their restaurants and lobby because i can admire the oversized chandelier. But they do not like people filming at their hotel. They are known for kicking out A LOT of people prior to covid hitting especially social media influencers (and they didn't get refunds on their rooms). But as long as you only take pics you should be fine. I hear its new management now thank goodness

On the strip, probably the Venetian. The Luxor is cool. Off strip, I like the Red Rock because I like to go hiking at Red Rock Canyon and it is fairly close to that. But it is nowhere near the strip.

Well, I would say the Venetian too. But I like Paris a lot.

Cosmopolitan is my favorite. Most of the ones from the central area and down to the south end of the strip are fun in their own way in my opinion

Bellagio is the only one I stayed in. But I found Luxor hotel to be quite interesting.
