If you were going on a vacation, where is one US destination you would go to, and where is one international destination you would go to?

I'm asking this for an experiment. I have a interview Monday afternoon for a customer service agent for a major international hotel chain. To get some practice of what I might be doing, I would like for you to give me one US city and one international City. then I will use that to look up hotel and amenities offerings nearby to use as a selling point.

I suppose I’d go with Hawaii. I’d love to do a full month there, and take two weeks to explore the cutty parts of the island, and two weeks to do the super-commercialized touristy stuff. I’ve always wanted to go there, because it’s tropical, but I find the Polynesian aspect more intriguing than the Caribbean Islands (never been to either, just talking about my perception). That’s not to say I wouldn’t want to check that out, I’m very intrigued by that too. But I think from watching TV, and most American TV being produced by folks living on the West Coast, specifically in LA, and I think those people just viewed Hawaii as the typical West Coaster’s island vacation getaway, whereas on the East Coast, we think of Aruba, Jamaica, all those places in that old Kokomo song, haha. So, to me, the Caribbean is a little more usual, I’ve known many, many people who have visited. I’ve known very few who have been to Hawaii. Probably would be opposite if I lived in California or something. So, Hawaii has a mystique for me that the Caribbean doesn’t. It’s not an either/or for the purposes of this question, but I just mean to explain that Hawaii has always been this fabled place to me that I’ve always wanted to see. I also am obsessed with anything Tiki themed, so Hawaii is just right up my alley.

In America I would like to visit Busch Gardens in Orlando and Internationally, I would like to visit Barbados. Now you might want to avoid references to Florida because Orlando is in conflict with the republican representatives right now and could get shut down in the near future.

I would probably want to go somewhere I haven't been to, but to tell you some places I've loved, I really had a great experiences in Chicago and at Lake Tahoe! I am also a huge fan of NYC, but it wouldn't be vacation for me since I'm in the area. I also feel like NYC is one of those places that people really love or really hate

In the USA, natural hot springs tour of Idaho. Traditional (nude or at least clothing-optional) sites only. International, the only place I would consider would be the ancient Egyptian sites.
