Oddly enough, none of those Kelly. Mexico is beautiful but I’ve been there a lot already. I’ve been to the USA so often it’s basically not even worth the 1hrs drive to the boarder anymore. I hated France and I’ll never go back even with a shot gun to my head. The other 4 are so lacklustre in my mind that I’d rather stay home in the freezing cold with Canadian winter with slippers and a beanie on.
@electromagnetic
so whats your spot?
All of Africa
Brazil
Peru
Russia (Serbian regions mostly)
The Netherlands
Guadeloupe
Haiti
Panama
All the little Islands in the Pacific Ocean (Samoa, Toga, Cook Islands, New Caledonia)
@electromagnetic
Wow you have nice taste of traveling world
I’m stucked between Greece and France lol ; Greece because I’m a fanatic of aesthetics and beautiful places, stunning beaches and fantastic weather then France would be because i am a fanatic of Arts , learning about histories and cultures. I would have considered USA but that would be for permanent relocation not vacation lol

I still think there are more great places to visit in the US than anyplace else.
I have been to Italy and Greece, now I live in the US (California). Last summer I travelled to 3 different states. Greece and Italy are beautiful countries, but as for Italy I am not fond of their food and how things are organised there. Greece is nice. If I have to choose again, I’d pick the United States. There is so much more to see here. I covered so many places in the other two countries but here it would be tricky because US is massive. California alone has so many places to explore. My dream is to cover all of the states one day once I decided to become a full time traveller.
I had the same impression of Italy, mediocre food and very disorganized. I get a lot of backlash for shitting on Italian food, but I've been finding more and more people who share my sentiment. Though I'll be honest, the food was probably the least of my complaints.
Greece was my favorite for a long time. Greece and France I would go back to, but I don't know if I would go back to Italy. I'll admit in terms of geography and attractions, Italy is probably the most interesting country in Europe, but the people who live there completely ruin it. Venice was pleasant, but it's too expensive.
@KostasKouvalis Yes, not only the portion is small, the taste is just like you said, mediocre. Nothing special about it. Definitely one of the most overrated cuisines. Oh, don’t forget they also charge for water without telling you lol. A few times the waiters just brought us the bottle and put in on the table as if it was free. We didn’t notice until we looked at the bill. It was €5. The roads have no sign boards, the airport and transport station don’t give announcement. People were either very helpful or cold. I didn’t go to Venice for that reason. The only famous thing there is the Gondola that is not worth the price. I did my research and asked some of my friends, they all told me not to go there. Greece is beautiful yea. I would like to visit Milos, Crete and Zakyntos some days.
Exactly, big plate small portion with almost no meat and Italian food is so boring. I genuinely cannot understand what all the hype is. I remember my co-worker telling me she went to an Italian restaurant in San Francisco and ordered Chicken Alfredo and there was almost no chicken in it and I was just like, "Yep, that's Italian food alright."
I hear Italians complain about how tourists only eat Pasta and Pizza, but I swear 95% of the restaurants I saw there only served Pizza, Pasta or Seafood.
Oh yeah, but I expected that. Really, the U. S. is one of the only countries where they give free water.
Apparently some coffee shops there also charge you extra if you want to sit.
That sounds about right. Though I figured there would be less of that sort of stuff where you went as that region isn't very popular with tourists.
We didn't drive our own car do I didn't notice the signs, but I do recall when we got off the train in Pisa, we couldn't get our bearings 'cuz there were so signs to indicate the name of the street you were on.
OMG, YES! The airport didn't show our gate 'til 20 minutes before boarding, and there was no announcement to indicate that boarding had begun.
Helpful, cold or trying to swindle you.
And the city itself, but if I'm honest, it's a little boring. They have some beautiful sites, but we basically saw all the main sites in 4 hours, and everything basically looks the same after a while, and there's only so much walking you can do. Venice lacks variety. St. Mark's Square and Bridge of Sighs are incredibly overrated. We didn't even do the gondola ride.
Venice? I personally liked it, but wouldn't plan an entire trip around it.
Rome is the one I would avoid like the plague.
Yeah, I visited northern Greece and Skiathos. Next time I wanna visit southern Greece and the islands.
I never understood why so many people hate Italians, but now I do
Someone needs to humble their asses. They think too highly of themselves
1. iceland - it's cold and i would hate that, but it would be amazing to me.
2. greece - i don't know if all of greece is on the mountainside of a cliff, but that's iconic. and before i die i will visit those structures
3. italy - some of the most beautiful women in the world. the best pasta and she'll cook it for you? what do i gotta murder a guy to get into this country?
I feel like I am the type of person who says who doesn't care to travel to places. But the is forced by well intentioned family members and then ends up enjoying the trip the most. Honeslty I am fine with any of those places, ust dont want to get sick and no third world countries and risk of getting sick in a risky area with family but no insurance.
Want to see all of American first, since I live here. I also have traveled to Canada and Italy, and would love to see Ireland, England, and Germany, and want to get to Sicily since those are the countries my my grandparents are from. And I didn't see Sicily on my Italian trip. also thanks to the military I saw South Korea, and Kuwait
Italy because I’m sicilian on my dad’s mom’s side. I’ve never been, but it would be cool to visit for a week and see what it’s like there today.
Been to Greece gorgeous country will be going again
I have been to most of those places, some several times. From that list I would pick Switzerland. But more than there I would like to see Ireland.
US. If it were not too expensive, then maybe Switzerland. But nowhere else is worth visiting in my opinion
Switzerland! I always wanted to go there. May be this year, finally.\although I would also love to go to Spain again. I vacationed there a few years ago. It was amazing!
For someone from USA , without taking cost into account certainly Swiss..
No Asian options I note.
I live in the U. S. and I've actually been to all of those except Switzerland and Iceland, but I only visited one small town in France so I choose France and that includes its overseas departments. Also, my crush lives in France
I chose the US because there is so much of my country that I have never seen.
Italy, Greece or the French Countryside, not Paris. Iceland is good too, in summer.
I've been to all of these except Switzerland and Iceland. I'd love to go to Iceland first.
Of these? Italy, France, Greece, and Iceland.
The United States and Mexico are huge compared to the rest.
USA to meet Uma Thurman that the only reason why main reason
Out of this list, Greece. But I'd really like to vacation in Botswana.
Out of the ones listed Switzerland 🇨🇭 because its the only one I haven't visited
