Best train between Florence and Rome Italy?

I'm going to be in Italy next month and am looking to get from Florence to Rome Italy by train.

I'd appreciate it if someone could advise the best way to do that via train, high speed if possible.

Frecciarossa! I went there last summer, and we took that train. It was on time, there was AC and the staff were nice. It was an 1h30 trip. Enjoy the scenery, it's breathtaking! :)

When I lived in Europe in the '70s the train system was excellent and on time. Nothing like the train system here in the United States today. Their motto is when ever we get there we might be there 3 days late.

Hmm, old post. You can book online. there are two different rail lines in Italy, trains are equivalent, pick whichever fits your schedule best. Trains in italy are pretty good.
