I’m looking to move out of state but can’t decide which is the best state/city to move to is. Please help?

Hi, I’ve just graduated from university and I have decided to move out of my home state of Maine but I don’t know which state/city is best to move to for me. Any help would be most appreciated.

The things that I require from where I settle are:

An excellent nightlife/party culture

Marijuana friendly (preferred but not essential)

Looking to buy a home and the home must have good view on at least one side of the house

Prefer to be located in an urban environment over a rural environment

Cops that aren’t going to pull me over all the time because I’m a young girl who drives a sports car or because my car sounds too loud.

Access to job opportunities in either the entertainment or modelling industries.

The less tropical weather or natural disasters the better.

The less traffic congestion and crime the better.

Which state/city do you think is best for me?

These days there aren't many good places left. They've all been made the same by Walmart, Home Depot, McDonalds, and all the rest. Once great cities like New York and LA and San Francisco are on the brink of collapse. Any cities with character have been overrun by homeless and illegal immigrants. Housing prices and rentals are through the roof everywhere. States that don't have income tax or property tax find other ways to get the money from you. You might as well move one city over or one state over and make the best of it, there's not much better anywhere else.

Selfishly I'd say NYC because I'm a native, except the house part is an issue if you plan on living in the Manhattan. Otherwise it pretty much hits the mark. If you can deal with apartment living, you are good to go. If you do decide to live in Manhattan, you won't want a car. Subway is the best way.

My next choice would be Portland, OR, but its a much smaller city. So job opportunities for modeling and entertainment would be scarce.

try to find a job anywhere along the coasts of michigan and ohio for lake view, and based on the better job opportunity move near the job.

Many are moving to Texas. We have jobs, nice houses and is a Great place to be. Dallas Houston San Antonio and Austin. our economy is good
