Did you ever go whale watching?

I used to think it would be cool, but it's not really on my bucketlist anymore. I might, if there was nothing else to do in the place, but I wouldn't pay more than $20. I've seen them before, but not on specialty tours. It seems kind of boring. It jumps out of the water for one second, then jumps right back in. If I'm gonn go wildlife viewing, I wanna get a good look. They're not even that cool, to be honest. The orcas I might go watch, because at least they're pretty. Even dolphins are cooler.
Yes, I went as a chaperone with my daughter's class. It was nice. It was a beautiful day and we saw a bunch of minke whales. Some of her classmates got sea sick.
There's a couple of local companies that'll take you out whale watching but it's hit and miss if you'll see any. I did it a few years ago and saw a few minke whales.
Dolphins and porpoise are very common here and regularly seen from the shore but you've got to be really lucky to see a whale. That doesn't stop people from trying though and occasionally they get lucky.

I'm hoping you don't mean someone that has a lot of money invested in a particular crypto or investment
My wife and I went whale watching off of Monterey, Ca. We saw Gray whales breaching and feeding pretty close up. It was awesome.
I went last summer in San Diego but we didn't see any whales. We saw and followed a pod of Dolphins and we saw some Sunfish but no whales.
Twice. San Diego (greys) and Vancouver (humpbacks and orcas). Vancouver was especially amazing! Would definitely do it again, but really want to try for whale sharks in Mexico.
I lived in San Diego when I was younger and sometime see them from shore but one time I went fishing and one went right under the boat was cool could see the barnacles on it had to reel in my line fast so it would not get it hooked
I live in South Africa where the Southern Right Whales summer and give birth. The whales are often visible from the beaches nearby
