Going homestead in the next couple of months?

I'm considering housing options should I go with the rv and camper or off grid home since it will be me & the kids.. cheaper housing options?

Here are a few thoughts:

An RV is a great option to start your homesteading adventure without spending a ton. Just you and the kiddos could really bond exploring new places together! Make sure to get one with maybe a pull-behind too so you have extra space.

Tiny homes are also super cute and affordable. You could totally furnish one all dreamy and cozy for not too much dough. I've seen some built on trailers too so you get the best of both worlds.

Yurts or teepees also seem like a fun option! Kinda boho and unique. Could be a fun DIY project for you ladies. Not to mention all the sweet pictures you could take!

Don't forget about used mobile homes too - sometimes you can score one really good on the cheap if you do a little TLC. Might not be as compact but more settled than a camper.

For sure start small so you don't break the bank. But focus on quality family time making memories together wherever the adventure takes you! Can't wait to see what style of abode you gals end up loving. Keep me posted, girl!

Why wouldn't they like off grid? We're already in a rural area

Shutting in a hole in the woods, and bathing in a river when it’s freezing out both suck. Not having AC when it’s hot as hell sucks. I’d know. Off grid living is rewarding, but one of the major reasons I moved on grid was because I wanted a family.

Well I'm not wanting a family due to my practice and love for nature is why we're going off the grid - ex husband is already off the grid

Well still have access to ac / heat - plumbing , but will be in a more rural area.. good luck getting a family

Less violence , less drama , less noise , quiet safe clean air environment- I have a holistic practice so going off the grid/ rural suits me
