What is the meaning of wild camping? Have you ever experienced it?

Wild camping isn't always legal although many places will turn a blind eye or it won't be policed because its too much effort. It's worth doing a little research before you go. Stick with small natural coloured tents and tuck yourself away off the beaten path. As long as you don't leave a mess the locals won't mind. Google earth is your friend for spotting suitable sites.

Camping in the literal wilderness. Not some tourist area or campsite. I have done it and I prefer it. It really gets you in tune with nature and makes you feel free and disconnected from society.

i guess it means camping like tents and sleeping bags on a trail with hiking. i have always needed hotels.

If you have surviving skills and good on geography and direction than try it.
It is wild life experience. No campsite or tourist areas
