How many homes have you changed before you finally settled?

Question

After I left home at 20, I went to live with my cousin for a year.

At 21 I moved to China and lived with a friend for a month.

Then I moved to another apartment by Yangcheng Lake and lived there for 1.5 year including 1 year with my then boyfriend.

Then I went back to Georgia and rented an apartment for 2.5 years, where I lived along with my brother.

Then I went back to China and lived by Yinshan Lake for a year, 5 months I had my friend sheltered in with me.

Then I moved to Shanghai at 26 and have been living here since then. I am just going to move to another apartment a little bigger than my current one.

All in All I’ve lived in like 5 places since I left home.

The 1st home I purchased is the small apartment complex I used to rent in when I was in college.

I still solely own that complex.

The 2nd home I bought used to be my residence for a decade when I lived in the Philippines for 19 years.

I still solely own that house and use it as our vacation beach house whenever we go the Philippines.

The 3rd home is an acquisition in NorCal mutually owned by me and my husband.

We are currently living in this home but we're thinking about moving away from urban living.

I/We have numerous other properties but we haven't lived in any of those for long periods since they're mostly income properties that we occupy only when we're visiting those locations.

7 before my wife and I moved into our current home in 2002. All of them were in California.

When I move out of my parent's home, I moved into an apartment in a triplex.

Then I bought a condo in Long Beach.

Then I rented that out to move into a house with a girlfriend. That didn't turn out well.

When we broke up, I moved into a really nice apartment in Long Beach.

When I got married, my wife and I rented an apartment in Redondo Beach, then an apartment in a lovely part of San Pedro.

After that, I transferred to northern California and we rented an apartment in Folsom before we bought property and built our home.

I lived with a friend for two years. Then he got married and had to kick everyone out. I then moved in with another friend for a few months, then another friend after that for about the same amount of time. Then I got married.

We lived in a duplex for just about five years and then bought out house earlier this year. So this was my fifth move in about ten years.

When I got married I li e in an apartment for 8 months before I bought my first house. I lived there for 3 years until I had a. Ew house vmbuilt in a nice neighborhood. I have lived here for26 years

My home now is my 9th place , I plan on settling here for awhile , but I eventually I will sell this house and move again , because I don’t want to stay in this area for the rest of my life , I eventually would like to settle somewhere else , closer to a beach , what beach? I don’t know yet , that’s why I plan on traveling

Had to search for a student's flat for college anyway, even if I ended up in the college dorms. Towards the end of my bachelor's degree I had to search for a private flat, which was first shared with a college student who later moved out, this is 5 years ago now.
