Have you ever been to Florida?

I know a few on here that live in florida but I'm not asking you. I'm asking the people who don't live there. I've been to quite a few places in FL, and it always stays beautiful. It's nice down there (Although when you leave I- Drive things aren't the same.) up here in Kentucky there is absolutely nothing to do. And people are so excited about Churchill downs. Well, that's the only place where we have palm trees. Tiny palm trees that have remained the same size for all these years. Anyways... I love it down there and always enjoy our trips. Plus I forgot to talk about the mansion!

IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! There were 10 bed rooms, 2 king, 5 queen, a bunked room and 2 rooms with bunked beds plus a full sized bed. Unfortunately I had to sleep in the living room (ngl it was fun being the first one downstairs bc my room was the meetup place every morning lol.) And there were 8 bathrooms. And I only got to use 4. Because some people who had bathrooms attached to their room didn't share. And the I was only allowed in 3. I snuck in one... it was much bigger and better than the ones I was allowed in.

And the second home was even better... Each room was themed and we had 2 living rooms and a gaming room. I got to spend some quality time in the gaming room with my cousin. But we only stayed there for a day. But it was fun, we went to the water park where my cousin was furious about guys checking out her butt. (Long story short... her butt got bigger and was halfway out. I told her to go with the ones with the shorts tho.) I was bent over laughing and she was about to smack me fr fr. But we had a good time. We got ice cream from a nearby place and went back to the mansion.

Nope... just a family vacation. It was for 7 nights and 8 days.

Been to Florida many times. My original computer training was done many years ago at Fort Lauderdale. Been to Disney World several time. I have family in Orlando and Tampa areas.

It's a nice place to visit but I really wouldn't want to live there. Too hot in summer, Then there's hurricane season. Cost of living is high, especially insurance on cars and homes. And you never know when a sinkhole is going to swallow up your house.

No — perhaps one day though. I’m put off by OrangeTurd living there, at MAR-a-LARDO — plus the swamp creatures, snakes, creepy-crawlies, huge prehistoric insects, humidity, & the fact that it’s like the colon of the eastern seaboard. Sprinkle in all the retirees & white trash, & its appeal seems somewhat less than ideal. Maybe I should though, as it will all be under water soon.

I'd love Florida , it would be one of my favorite spots in the USA , and I love that climate , its closest to what we have here..

And being a golfer , its where many pros ( golfers ) live , because of climate and position , including Greg Norman , I love that kind of weather , just love it.
I'd love to go to Akron Ohio too ( Firestone Country Club ) .

I mainly love to go to Cedar Point and Kings Island. They've got the best coasters. But my mom is from cincinnati and we visit every now and then for no specific reason.

I am one of those people who not only live in Florida, but I was born in Florida and my family moved here in 1790. I am as native as it gets in Florida.

Therefore I know that Florida is a swamp full of crocophants, wild west gunmen, and a presidential impostor. And a few rockets standing around.

I have no reason to go there. Don't even know where it is.

Yeah twice. First time we just went to a beach in Pensacola for a couple hours. The second time we stayed in St. Augustine and visited Blue Springs, New Smyrna, Bulow Plantation, Washington Oaks, Paynes Prairie, Cedar Key and the Crystal River Indian Mounds.

That's harsh. You sound like my dad, but I kind of get what you're saying. It's a cool place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. The springs and underground rivers are really cool, but I remember driving through the state and it was nothing but the same species of tree for miles and miles. I also remember flying over the Everglades and thinking, "Good Lord! People actually pay money to visit this place?"

The history, culture and biology is interesting, especially the wildlife, but in terms of climate and geography, it's one of the least pleasant states for sure. I certainly don't plan to make a special trip there again. The areas around Gainesville weren't so bad though. The coastal areas also sucked, because there is a road that runs along the coast, but the view is blocked by massive condos.

You'd be surprised, no one is really from here anymore. I heard the grocery store was super busy cause of some tropical storm, why would anyone get scared about a tropical storm?

And I'm actually not. I think northern Florida is the only part of the state that still has true Floridans left. Most of the bad things you hear about Florida people are actually about northeast people who moved to Florida. The only true stereotype about actually Florida people is they're crazy😂 True Florida people are actually really friendly, but you don't wanna piss them off.

But my favorite part is how everyone, that includes me, thinks it's like the Caribbean, where it never gets bellow 80 degrees. Then when visit in spring or winter, at least to northern Florida, they freeze their butts off😂
