The CN tower is s good experience, and near the base of the tower is the iconic Steam Whistle brewery located on the old CN turn table tracks. The distillery district is a gem so many small shops and eateries and of course Toronto Island is a place you can't miss out on and Niagara Falls isn't far away the Canadian side is by far the best, the hundreds of wineries and vineyards prior to reaching the falls shouldn't be overlooked. I would be more than happy to escort you and your friend to these places and more.

Wow that all sounds nice. I'm not sure when we will be going. I would like to go soon but it's all on if my friend is able to take off. But thank you.

I've been to Titinto many times. CN Tower is a must. If you like shopping, go to Eaton Centre. Check out any if the great restaurants. If you're into sports, catch a baseball, football or hockey game, depending on season. Ride the subway to get around.

451 opinions shared on Travel topic. 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower. It's fantastic. I would love to do that again. The cinnamon ice cream was amazing. I haven't been there in 16 years, but it still haunts me how good the restaurant and that ice cream were.
The CN Tower used to be the tallest free-standing structure in the world. The restaurant rotates making a full rotation in 72 minutes. This video is at 10x so the full rotation is about 7 minutes. Too bad it's not a beautiful day in this video but you can still see New York in the United States in the distance when looking across Lake Ontario. I know from New York, you can see the Toronto skyline with the CN Tower distinctly visible.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/6w_UWiPAmFwIf you go in winter or spring, I'd say go see a Toronto Rock National Lacrosse League game; they will play this upcoming season (*) at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre in adjacent Mississauga because their normal home arena is undergoing reservations. Tickets are cheap, but worth it. Many of the best lacrosse players in the world live in "GTA" (Greater Toronto Area).
Toronto was the #1 team in the regular season last season.

I would love to go back to Toronto, but, sadly, I live in Missouri now so likely that will never happen again.

Honestly, Jason has some good tips. Tourists have to do the CN Tower. What are you into?
14 Reply- 1 mo
Oh just about everything. I love museums, I love sightseeing, I love aquariums, I love going out and having a good time at bars and lounges every now and then. Haven't done it in a while so this trip would be well needed.

For bars and lounges, take a walk down Queen Street West. For museums, Art Gallery of Ontario is also worthwhile, and for something a bit different, the Bata Shoe Museum.
- 1 mo
And if you have time, day trip to Niagara Falls.

Ok thank you! I will try to do all of that. It sounds so fun!

Toronto is not a place to visit, it is a place to live.

Isn't it a big city though?
- 1 mo
Yes, but there are no historical places to visit, there are buildings, parks, restaurants, etc. Toronto is not a tourist city like Paris, Rome, Moscow.

Oh ok. Well where would you suggest going to in Canada?

Montreal
