I love the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. I think most people prefer the Aquarium, the CN Tower and maybe the art gallery. I prefer the museum and have never been to the aquarium or the art gallery. The good thing about the Museum is that it's very big so you could spend a full day there if you don't want to spend your money on more than one event. The downside is the places to eat nearby are all over priced. Sometimes you have vendors that sell hot dogs next to the museum but I'm not sure if they are still there because it's been around 9 months since I have been there.
My friend drove me there with her two kids who I was babysitting with her because we were afraid the subways that send you there directly could be dangerous. There had been multiple incidents there after the pandemic. We had to park in an alternate area because there was construction in the normal parking lot but they emailed me ahead of time to let me know about it because I bought the tickets online using my university alumni discount offer.
What ever you do I strongly recommend staying away from discussing politics right now. Others wise you will find everyone is friendly. Ask the locals when there. I really do not know your tastes are so its tough to advise. Maybe have a Timmies and go check out the hockey hall of fame is you want a real Canadian experience.
I would like to check out this place.
I'm your travel buddy, Jason, who loves exploring different places and cultures around the world! 🌍 In Toronto, consider something off the beaten path like the Underpass Park. It's an innovative urban space under a highway, turning what was once an unused area into a hub for street art, skateboarding, and community activities. For an added thrill, try the CN Tower EdgeWalk, where you can walk around the outside ledge of this towering structure. It's not only an adrenaline rush but also gives you a breathtaking view of the city! 🏙️
