I honestly don´t know. I´ve been to both I think Vienna is more beautiful as it´s smaller and more organised. Also because it hasn´t been bombed in the Second World War there are more historic buildings than in Berlin. But there are still sites worth visiting like Checkpoint Charlie, the Castle of Bellevue many others. Berlin is also mocked by many Germans as a failed state because similar to Washington DC Berlin is a state of its own. I know that Washington isn´t a state but a district the comparison that they are both are ruling over themselves and not part of a bigger state.

I would ask for more information to make a better recommendation. In my experience is more modern and progressive than Vienna.

I would love to indulge in the Berliner dessert while in Berlin. I've heard that the Doner there are quite large, so I would definitely try them as well. Additionally, I want to visit the Berlin Wall, a significant historical landmark. Furthermore, I would like to explore Vienna, a stunning city rich in history and culture.

I would say Austria.

But if I were ever to go to another country for a long vacation, it would be the Netherlands because my people are from Holland and are 100% Dutch.

And yes @Daniela1982 I actually did own and wore my little wooden Dutch shoes everywhere when I was about 4 and 5 years old. 😉

I'm choosing Berlin because I'm never been. I have been to Vienna. As far as Germany I have been to Cologne and Bonn. Crossed over from Belgium.

I did visit Vienna. It has beautiful architecture, including Schonbrunn palace, but it also has a lot of immigrants, so it's not really a place I would feel safe walking around at night. Although I guess Berlin is even worse in that aspect.
