Of course. Always visit first before moving anywhere unless you know the destination is what you want.

Gotta agree i heard a lot lot lot bad things about Dubai. I honestly dont know what the big trend about Dubai is to be honest. Like here in germany this latest trend is "Dubai chocolate" and its this weird green chocolate that costs like 15€ for a 4 piece and its in every Aldi or Penny or any store like i dont get it
- 3 d
It's just a dumb hype. I have read about a recent quality test and many of these Dubai chocolate products were tainted or of low quality.
- 3 d
@DryGermanGuy that is surprising
- 3 d
Actually, no... whenever there is high demand there will be dubious actors drawn to it.

I'd say it all depends on where you're moving from and what culture you're from. The fact that you're a woman doesn't bode well for moving to an area where women are generally oppressed and have limited work and social freedom.
Unless you're Islamist, you don't drink and you accept these facts, Dubai and its culture, though not as bad as other Islamist areas, will not be a comfortable place to be long-term.
However, if you're only going to live there for a short time and there's some GIANT salary that's been promised, it might be worth the suffering.
DEFINITELY visit the place and explore it. Don't get a tourist guide who's only going to show you its surface. Find a woman who can give you the skinny.
I'd seek to visit for two weeks. See where most women work, how they dress. DO NOT visit bars or clubs. Women have been raped who've gone to these venues. Western women are considered loose and asking for such abuses.
There are many foreigners working in Dubai from a host of backgrounds. They're all there to make money. And I've never heard this is a "fun" place to live OR work. It's a grindstone. And a decidedly conservative one.
Dress modestly and be careful about being out alone and after dark. See if you can get the pulse of the place. If you can clean up for a year, might be worth it. Caution is the better part of valor.10 Reply - 4 d
Please don’t @Jennz6. Moving there is very expensive. There are no strip clubs. At least not officially, anyway. But there are plenty of night clubs and competition between prostitutes is very fierce. You’ll be competing against Arab, Chinese, Indian, and Russian mafia who traffic in underage girls from all over the world and rotate them out every few months. It’s possible to make bank as an independent, but you’re probably better off where you are. It’s not like any 14 year old Uzbek girl sucking off filthy cab drivers in parking lots wouldn’t kill to be where you are now, living like and doing what you’re doing. Honestly, if you’re fed up with Florida, try Vegas. If you don’t thing you can hack it there, you’ll get eaten alive (and not in a good way 😉) in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. You might as well go back to Mexico…

“Underground Night Club” I heard I could make a fortune there 💃 dancing by night and 🧕☪️ Concubine in the daytime - 2 d
Did you have one in mind? Also how a lot of girls get lost in desert or at sea… Better to DM me. 🕵️♂️
Hey @Jennz6 I've been to Abu Dhabi a couple of times, went there by road/car from Dubai - 1st time it was way less developed than Dubai (which I actually liked) but now it's exerting itself as the capital city of the UAE and in many ways mirrors Dubai in that it is very modern + glitzy these days
Now as far as stripping work goes I have no idea but remember it is a Muslim city so that'd probably be more of a clandestine occupation I think !
One thing is for sure, there'd be no shortage of rich Arab men who'd be lining up to keep you in a lifestyle which you'd undoubtedly enjoy becoming accustomed to !!
Oh, and like in Dubai, the middle eastern foid (especially Lebanese - my ancestry incidentally) is brilliant !

Abu Dhabi is very conservative... stripping is not really a thing.
If you plan on moving somewhere, it's always a good idea to visit first, figure out where you would live and work, and what else you would be doing.

@AviatorTom I heard that they have underground strip clubs
Jennz don’t make that mistake always visit first before you make a decision to move somewhere especially to another country.

Definitely visit first. They may look Westernised but remember these are islamic countries. Unlikely to have a large number of strip clubs...
11 ReplyI would recommend you visit any country before moving there. Also you should probably find out what their laws are before going you don't want to end up like Brittany Griner

Jenn, keep in mind you need permission to move there. People online are always talking about moving to other places. You will need a VISA and a Medical check.
It's not like America where they welcome in murderers. But I read that the only 7 star restaurant in the world is in Dubai. I wish you luck.
10 Reply It's very expensive to live in either place. You might want to email the strip clubs to see if they hire old strippers first.
11 ReplyVisit maybe live no some stories I heard when a women were violated and told the authorities she one locked up.
21 ReplyYes. Visit more countries and travel the world first then make your decision. Or stay in Usa close to home. Dont rush it because you never know how it turns out.

Definitely visit but you wouldn’t want to move there since women are usually second class citizens over there and you probably can’t even get citizenship to live there anyway unless you marry somebody

If you're a stripper you'll be thrown in prison the minute you get there.
11 Reply - 4 d
Yes that would be great. You can visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai both. For at least 2 weeks.
If those areas aren't that much open minded then England is another option for us.
10 Reply I would certainly visit before you move. Mid-East culture is much different from the USA
