Is Uber worth using?

I like to travel and I thought maybe the uber app could come in handy. Like say I ask uber to pick me up from my house and take me to the airport, so I don’t leave my car in the airport parking lot, then when I get to say London, or Paris, or Amsterdam or Tokyo etc, I’ll have uber pick me up from the airport and take me to my hotel, and then have uber take me to any sights I may want to see. I’ve never done all of this before but how hard can it be?

It doesn't matter for me what transportation app I use and how expensive it is as long as I reach my destination.

Although I prefer the fastest ones, uber and similar apps are fast + secured.

I live in London and the best app is TURO

While on East Asia countries, it's better to use Grab / Bolt otherwise if in Japan then it's more recommended to use their underground trains.

It’s touch and go. If you use it, don’t start up a conversation with the driver and stop paying attention to where you’re going. They can easily become distracted and get lost because they are not professional drivers. Most of them don’t know where they’re going because they’re from India or Bangladesh etc. and have just arrived in your country 2 weeks ago, hired a car on their foreign licence and just started driving uber because there is really no hiring process, they just sign up and are allowed to do it.

If you get one who has 5 stars, be careful because that could just mean they are so new that they haven’t had any bad reviews yet.

Here Thailand we use GRAB , or BOLT , same thing but can pay with cash , it's brilliant for the most part , Australia = Uber and surge pricing , man it made me curse that App.

Uber is usually cheaper than traditional taxis but I prefer taxis cause they are regulated so there is a lower of chance of rape and criminal mistreatment.

They only operate in London as Sadiq and the drivers have a shared background so he gets to be voted in repeatedly by his community as an effective dictator for life
