The Northern US in general is full of nice people who never frown. But Massachusetts people are amazing!

Canadians and American Southerners are both grumpy passive-aggressive buggers.

From what I hear of the West Coast people, they too are lovely.

Having experienced many folks from Massachusetts and having spent many hours in that state, I will simply say that there's a reason these people are called "Massholes"; and many from Massachusetts would agree with that phrase.

I have a personal story or two but I don't feel like getting pissed-off recounting it here.

They're all Democrats, so doubt it. And I've heard bad things about Bostonians. They don't call them Massholes for nothing.
Massachusetts was the first place my dad worked when he immigrated to America. No one would talk to him, and he said there was a black guy from Jamaica in the same company, the Massachusetts blacks looked down on him and wouldn't even talk to him.
