How do you entertain yourself on a long flight?

I think about the positive things I am looking forwards towards such as the in flight lunch or dinner, the hotel swimming pool when I get off the airplane, or the fancy dinner I will have at the resort or the free margaritas at the hotel. I also like to listen to music, I got an iPod 19 years ago when you could get a high quality one for under $110 and have it last for 40 years. I have a series of cds songs saved on my iPod and just play it over and over again. My iPod lasts for over 22 hours and I know this cause I once had a a day long flight delayed by over 13 hours so that I spent almost 24 hours on the combined airport, flight to the destination, and bus ride to the hotel travel day and my music still worked after 18 hours with no additional charging ports.

Sleep if possible. Being unconscious is the best way to spend 6-10 hours in a sardine can. If that doesn't work, a Kindle book broken up with meals and drink service is my default method of dealing with the boredom.

Lots of sleep. And music. Maybe something to read. Pretty boring really but that's just nature of long flights. If we could have WiFi instead of flight moee would be so much easier!
