What is the longest flight you have taken? If you haven't been on a particularly long flight, how long of a flight do you think you could stand?
From New York to Incheon, Seoul in late November 2019. 16 hour flight, with a two hour layover, so 18 hours total. And trying to figure out the time zone conversion there without just looking at my watch, is some level of math I'm not trying to do.

So i had to fly from Syracuse Ny to Seattle Wa. Slept in a hotel, got my negative pcr test. Then continue my journey on a rotator from Seattle to Korea.
I don't know the exact flight time, but it took forever. I'm used to going to and from Alaska and Ny, but Korea? Terrible. It was definitely over 15 hours and I had the worse seats.
I don't remember the length of flight, but I had the privilege of going to France for a high school trip one summer. It was a two-part trip since I lived in the Midwest at the time. Flight over the Atlantic seemed endless, but keep in mind I was 13 or 14.

Though I believe that Miami was a bit further distance-wise than NYC, my longest flight time-wise was the return flight to San Francisco from NYC at 6.5 hours. Miami to SF was just over 6 hours. The return flight is longer because of headwinds - from SF to NYC only took about 5 hours. Weather definitely makes a difference when you're flying a longer distance.
Longest flight I did was from Charles de Gaulle Airport (Paris) to Narita Airport (Tokyo). It took 12 hours in both directions. I actually bought the tickets to depart from Brussels, but the plane was from Paris. So from Brussels to Paris they put us on a high speed train in first class (the train actually had a flightnumber for this trip). In Japan, I had to travel another few hours on local and high speed trains to get to my destination, so the total door to door time was 27 hours.
Over 18 long hours on board a Singapore Airlines flight from Changi Airport (Singapore) to John F. Kennedy Airport (New York).
16 hours from Germany to the Caribbeans. Was at least one hour longer than planned, because of unfortunate winds. Even the flight crew looked miserable. 😖
Single leg, Cape Town to Heathrow at 11 hours 25 minutes. Travel time, Gatwick to Cape Town via Munich that took 3 days thanks to the airline screwing us up
Only flew once (or twice if you count both ways)
Germany - Portugal and back, it was 2,5 hours.Something like 18 hours from Chicago to Tokyo with my mom when I was a kid. Then on to another flight, then a train. Longest. Trip. Ever. That's why if anyone ever wants me to go to Asia again, they'll need to move the continent much closer!
Fourteen hours a few times. I dread to think of my carbon footprint :-(
I wouldn't want to do much longer, but on a modern plane it's not so bad.
I think LA to Nuku’alofa was about 20 hours… that was rough lol
I am not sure, but I suspect it was JFK in New York City to Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Rome circa 1972. We were on our way to Greece. I was in the 3rd Grade, so this was school year 1971-72 and I am pretty sure we went in 1972.
13 hours and 40 minutes... Detroit to Tokyo.
13! I watched so many movies that I was behind on. That was the only way I survived!
I belive 4 1/2 hours was the longest I have been on
Melbourne to London. There were a couple of stops but fairly much continuous. It is very nearly half the earths circumference and therefore the longest you can go. Unless you wanted to fly Los Angeles to Los Angeles for some stupid reason.
To Australia on a military aircraft with inflight refueling. It was decades ago but I think it was about 14 hours.
Chicago to Heathrow and back. Granted they were about a month apart. It also showed that while I can sleep almost everywhere, an airplane is an exception.
Los Angeles to Madrid. I'm not sure how long this took but it seemed like forever. I think the longest flight I could stand at this point would be about 16 hours and that would be quite painful.
Direct only 12hrs about same to Turkey and Japan from Seattle though it took me 36 hrs to get to Koh Samui Thailand during Covid, I wouldn’t be able to do it again, fastest flight I’ve seen from Seattle to Bangkok is 19hr
