Why do I suddenly crave living by the sea?

Shanghai is by the ocean but its beaches are worthless… I crave beaches, waking up near the sea or an ocean… Don’t know what to do, I almost feel like leaving Shanghai.

And yeah, city big coastline has a completely different vibe.

It's a pretty natural feeling most people crave, I've heard it's because it's where the elements blend, the wind the water the sun and the earth. Personally I don't like too much sand in my shoes and it makes cleaning difficult when you live by the beach. But hey definitely great to visit

I lived by the sea in the UK and here in South Africa. I highly recommend it. Even if you don't go every day just having the sea air and sound of the waves is awesome.
