Have you heard of sleeping on trains?

There are lots of trains in Europe and one of the main ways how people get around in Europe. I thought I heard that there’s trains you can sleep on and they offer beds. There’s a lot of countries I would like to visit and if I wanted to visit multiple countries in one trip, then maybe sleeping on the overnight trains could come in handy and be very convenient. Like say for example, I get on the train in Paris at night, wanted to go to Amsterdam, I sleep on the train and when I wake up, I’m already in Amsterdam, I spend a day or two in Amsterdam, then I want to go to Berlin, I get on the train in Amsterdam at night, go to sleep and when I wake up, I’m already in Berlin, so I guess trains could be hotels then, couldn’t they be?

In the UK there's only a couple of proper overnight sleeper trains, mostly between London and Scotland. About 5 hours.

Usually people just sleep in their chairs and set the alarm on their phone so they don't miss their stop or hang a sign on their neck asking to be woke up

Yeah. The Amtrak Auto Train runs from DC to Orlando. They have sleeper cars. We used to use it on family vacation. You get there with your car in tow on the train.

There are trains in the U. S., Canada, and the rest of the world you can sleep on. If you can afford, try reserve one with fewer bunks, or solo.
