I experienced this overseas in Japan. I heard someone say, "Let's go there now, before the crazy Americans get there. He didn't realize (maybe he did) I was standing there and heard him. I'm not one to general because not ALL Americans are crazy. But I don't blame him. We are not well liked around the world. We are seen as loud, spoiled, very opinionated, and troublesome. And now that you know who is in charge unfortunately, we are seen as being JUST like him. SO, for now, I will travel to places where I know people know me better.

Go look up how many people have been cut off as dead (when very much alive), veterans, on and on. They have all made youtube clips and reported to their local papers, or other (many not public at all I am sure) as they can't get through to their local offices as Musk closed them, hacked staff in half, and cut off the GD phone.

I am proud to be an American. America is the greatest country in the world. There are people who come from far away and jump through a bunch of hoops in the hope of becoming an American. No other country elicits such a response.

If you think America is the "greatest country on the world" you are thinking as a person who is very insular. That is what you have been fed and made to believe. Other countries disagree with you, and I don't blame them--because I don't think we are the "best" country in the world. I am not proud of it, and I am not proud of your leader at all.

I am working on moving but it's not that easy. The fact that Trump was elected caught me by surprise and it takes time to plan these things. I don't want to live in a country where the leader is a mentally ill convicted felon an half the country has turned into a pack of racists. It disgusts me.

@Amy10223 I have had many opportunities here. I was able to raise and educate 3 kids, buy a house, have a standard of living experiences by maybe 10 percent of the world's population and I had several surgeries and my wife survived cancer. I would not want medical care anyplace else.

The US is not the only place to get good medical care. The are plenty of other countries that offer excellent medical care, and it does not cost a person as mxcuh. For example--my eyeglasses here cost me $400.00, for the eyeglasses and not the exam. My neighbor, who is Japanese, said she was used to paying in Japan, $40.00 for her pair. I complimented her on them and we talked about that. Healthcare should be attainable in the supposedly richest country in the world for ALL of its citizens, and yet many are without it because they cannot AFFORD it. I know many who are struggling to pay their bills and their meidcal insurance. And as for education-- it cost my daughter less to go to school in Canada than it did here. It was very affordable.
So, that you can see, you need to look at how other countries live and what their country does for them. This is by far not the "best " country to love in--it is what you have been told; and it is not true. If you went out of the US, you would see for yourself how life is better in many parts of the world.
