No, I love them. I remember sitting at the window watching lightning when I was kid visiting my mom in the summers.

I'm smart enough to respect the power behind lightning. But I have to admit it's also beautiful. Once upon a time I was hunkered down on a mountain peak when a storm front rolled in fast. Lightning strikes were hitting all around us. It was spectacular. Luckily no one was hit. The smell of the ozone and dust from shattered rock afterward was amazing. A little adrenaline rush never hurts.

I oddly find them quite relaxing and peaceful. I'm not sure I can really explain very well but something about them I find quite soothing. I find them to be especially nice at sea well at least the lightning strikes are truly stunning.

I'm only scared of the thunder. I used to live in Colorado when I was very young and the thunder is bad there. So since then I been scared.
