Did you ever live in New York? Apparently not.

I don't know what the worst city in America is. And, I think it depends a lot on what you value as important in that city... AND where you live within the city.

I have lived in multiple metropolitan areas: New York NY, Albany NY, Buffalo NY, Hartford CT / Springfield MA, Los Angeles CA, Rockford IL, Saint Louis MO. Each has things that are distinctively good and bad. For instance, the weather in Los Angeles was great; the earthquakes and being 3 hours behind (so, I'm watching Monday Late Afternoon Football) sucked. Buffalo was fantastic in many ways, but I fucking hate snow. You see where I am going. It all depends on what is important to you...

I think that would be Jackson or Birmingham or New Orleans or Memphis or Shreveport or... They are poverty-stricken with much higher crime rates than New York. New York is fairly safe. My wife and I visit and have no problem walking in Manhattan quite late.

I think it stinks like dumpster juice, trash is stacked along the streets, rats the size of cats. The subways stink like piss, it's crowded, expensive, and it's dangerous.

It's freezing in the winter, and boiling in the summer. It's packed with turd-world illegals and crazy homeless people.

in my opinion it's the number one shittiest out of the top five most populated.

@melanie31 I was in New York for Christmas in 2017, and I loved it, cold weather and all. Even had breakfast with the Soup Nazi! LOL Now in Huntington Beach, Ca, and it is the BEST
