I was going to stay indoors and sip on lemonade however I am 10 min from the beach so chuck it. haha

Of course I will be getting the heat also at the beach. I don't mind :) I have a new 50 sun lotion that is a non greasy gel made with aloe vera so at least I won't be coming back home as a red cherry. lol

I don't really have any I visit regularly, except one on lakes near in my area, though I haven't been in ages. As far as Ocean beaches, the ones I revisit freqiently aren't really swimming/bikini beaches. But I will say

HARRIS BEACH in Oregon, anyways

As for more proper beaches, when I lived in Southern CA it was La Jolla and Oceanside, but I haven't been in over 2 decades.

LITTLE MAKENA on Maui

PLAYA FLAMENCO on Culebra

EAGLE BEACH on Aruba

SAND HARBOR BEACH, Nevada side of Lake Tahoe

South of Spain. I'm literally at a 2 minute walk from the beach, three back (uphill).

But my favorite beaches are in the area of Tarifa, province of Cadiz. Fine sand, always a breeze and one of the best spots you can dream of.

We like to go to Flagstaff lake sometimes and it's awesome 'cuz there's hardly ever any people there and u can also camp there if u want! Yay!

And I am so looking forward to it in about 3 damn months 'cuz there's still friggen' snow on the ground here and I'm jealous of you but I hope you have a fun and awesome day and don't get too burnt! 🥵

But with every step off the beaten path indonesia get drastically poorer so outside the resorts and huts over the ocean options are very limited and there is no abundance of spice or sauce.. everything is i'm sorry to say boring. The resorts were fine but everywhere else you better like coconut and coconut water. Being the cocky prick I am I figured a couple more days wouldn't hurt we could just go into a village and get whatever.. negative.. Turned out to be handy I spent 10 years as a commercial fisherman and catch enough food to support a few people for a few days.

When I was in my late teenage years I went to Redondo Beach ⛱️ and it was my dream to move there after I got out of high school back in the 70's.

It was a beautiful and clean beach back then and it probably is still that way because it's your favorite beach.

I was going to put it on my list but I couldn't remember the name of the beach. It's just been too long ago.

@sage2021 You would NOT believe how expensive that area is now, just for 80-90 year old homes that are ready to be torn down. But yes very nice beach and the best weather in the world. It can be 90 inland and say maybe 72 at the beach.
